Responsibilities:
We are in search of a Shipping Team Supervisor to enhance our dynamic team.

The Shipping Team Supervisor will assist the department manager with daily operations and guide team members to fulfill shipping requirements efficiently and promptly.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring adherence to established procedures, promoting safety practices, and achieving departmental productivity and quality objectives.

2. Assisting in the training and onboarding of new team members.

3. Maintaining effective communication across functions and departments.

4. Overseeing the internet order fulfillment process, including picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlines.

5. Supporting picking supervisors in prioritizing orders.

6. Regularly monitoring systems and communications to ensure customer satisfaction.

7. Keeping workspaces organized and free from safety hazards.

Qualifications:
Position qualifications and requirements include:

1. Flexibility in work hours, including weekends.

2. 2-3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience with direct reports.

3. Experience in e-commerce shipping or receiving.

4. High School Diploma or GED.

5. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English (Spanish is a plus).

6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

8. Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

9. Capability to lift 50 pounds and operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
