Position Overview

The Wind Energy Center is a state-of-the-art wind power generation facility utilizing advanced turbine technology.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular mechanical and electrical maintenance on wind turbines and related equipment.
  • Ascend wind turbine towers daily, equipped with necessary safety gear, to inspect, maintain, or repair machinery.
  • Comprehend the electrical and mechanical functions of all components associated with wind turbine generators.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; repair or replace components as needed.
  • Ensure the upkeep of company tools, facilities, and equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of scheduled and unscheduled overtime, especially during peak maintenance periods.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) or relevant technical education.
  • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, climb ladders independently, and work at heights exceeding 80 meters (250 feet).
  • Capable of lifting and maneuvering weights up to 45 kg (100 pounds).
  • Weight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding any equipment worn during job-related tasks.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring employer visa sponsorship.
