Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Liquid Measurement Specialist to join our Measurement Department at Energy Transfer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate measurement of liquid products, including NGL, crude oil, and refined products, in accordance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the Measurement Department during project scope meetings to ensure liquid measurement equipment is designed and installed according to industry standards and company specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance on meter type, size, and specifications, as well as prover type and size selection, to ensure accurate measurement of liquid products.
  • Participate in meter skid, sampling skid, flow computer panel, and RTU building factory acceptance tests to ensure all equipment is installed and wired correctly.
  • Lead meter station commissioning efforts and coordinate with local Measurement Technicians and Communication Technicians to set up measurement-related equipment and transmitters.
  • Assist the Volume Analyst group in reconciling customer quantity and quality monthly statement disputes and auditing company and third-party meter stations, equipment, and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in a related technical discipline, such as Electrical & Instrumentation or Chemical Process Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6+ years of pipeline or facility measurement experience involving NGL/Y-Grade meter station design, flow computer interface and configuration, meter proving, flare line, inferred Mass Measurement, and NGL liquid sampling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of NGL industry terminologies.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and conflicting priorities, well-developed communication skills, and demonstrated effectiveness in coordinating with other departments and external customers.
