PV Solar Field Technician II

NextEra Energy, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Solar Energy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Power Generation Division, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage, and AC/DC inverters on multiple solar power plants.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily inspections of solar arrays and inverters to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
- Conduct electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
- Maintain all tools, shops, vehicles, and work locations in a safe and efficient condition.
- Support teammates in nearby states in the region and maintain reliability, operations, and maintenance for sites in the New Jersey area.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience: 1+ years
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- Trade School Graduate
- Licensed Electrician
- Licensed Master Electrician
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
