About the Role

The Account Executive - Direct Retail Sales role serves as a key liaison between Spectrum and our Retail Partner Direct Sales portfolio. This position is responsible for growing revenues by maximizing sales through effective management of the day-to-day relationship of the assigned book of business, ensuring representation of the Spectrum brand, and protecting the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow assigned books of business to maximize sales opportunities and ensure representation of the Spectrum brand.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Retail Partners to create and manage growth plans, conduct regular meetings, training, and account reviews.
  • Provide account management, including audits, field visits, training, business reviews, product knowledge support, customer concerns, brand compliance, and merchandising.
  • Conduct side-by-side selling of Spectrum services to customers at retailer's locations, train and develop retailers.
  • Forecast and allocate monthly goals to assigned partners, meet or exceed assigned KPI metrics, and provide frequent reports to channel leadership.
  • Prospect new business for quality partners that will represent Spectrum professionally and drive incremental sales volume.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Sales presentation skills, problem-solving capabilities, organized, and demonstrated initiative.
  • Practical written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, travel frequently within the assigned territory, and adjust the schedule as needed.
  • Reliable transportation, valid and active State driver's license, and safe driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience.
  • Related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience - 5-7 years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bi-lingual.
  • SAE degree.
