Position Title: Senior Logistics Engineering Specialist - Advanced Programs - Level 3

Position Overview:
This role is part of our renowned Skunk Works program, which is pivotal to Lockheed's Aeronautics sector, focusing on the development of advanced systems, including innovative designs and rapid prototyping for new solutions as well as enhancements to existing systems.

The ideal candidate is a versatile and proactive team member who thrives on tackling complex challenges faced by our clients. Our unclassified projects include iconic programs such as the U-2, SR-71 Blackbird, F-22 Raptor, F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-35 Lightning II. The selected individual will become a vital member of a unique Advanced Development Program (ADP) team.

The selected candidate will provide support to a program in the Santa Barbara region.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing logistics databases, overseeing parts inventory, and preparing shipments.
  • Coordinating kitting requirements and distributing parts/supplies to team members.
  • Assisting on-site customers with routine logistics support and conducting scheduled audits.
  • Coordinating and managing calibration requirements for tooling and test equipment through internal and external support organizations.

Additionally, the candidate will assist team members with the ground movement and handling of ADP aircraft.

Candidates must be prepared to travel to and work in remote and austere locations as required by customer needs.


Requirements:

Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer-provided accommodations, and comply with mobility requirements, including chemical warfare training and necessary vaccinations.
Candidates must also pass an overseas physical and meet customer medical standards.
Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
Submission to a polygraph examination may be required.


Security Clearance:
Must possess a Top Secret clearance that has been investigated within the last five years.

Work Environment:
This position requires on-site work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule:
Lockheed Martin offers various flexible work schedules, including standard 40-hour weeks and condensed schedules that provide additional time off.

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this position is $74,700 - $143,100, depending on various factors such as experience, education, and market considerations.
