Knowledge and Experience Required

We seek candidates with advanced knowledge of track engineering principles, safety regulations, and a broad range of engineering systems. Key areas of expertise include:

  • Signal Maintenance and Repair
  • Installation and Troubleshooting of New Systems
  • Testing and Calibration
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Safety Compliance

Familiarity with railroad regulations and standards is essential, along with experience in managing and delivering compliant training programs. Previous instructional experience and a background in adult learning are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

As a Rail Engineering Training Specialist, you will:

  • Design and deliver training programs that enhance employee proficiency through classroom, lab, and on-the-job training
  • Plan and oversee training schedules for Engineering Department personnel
  • Conduct regular assessments of staff competencies and support improvement plans
  • Contribute to the development of new training materials and programs
  • Perform audits to ensure safety compliance and proficiency in work practices
  • Engage in continuous education to stay abreast of industry changes
  • Interpret and apply company policies and regulations accurately
  • Promote a culture of safety and proactive measures within the team
