About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Track Laborer - Rail Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Keolis North America LLC. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting track and Right of Way on the MBTA Commuter Rail System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct, maintain, repair, and inspect track and Right of Way on the MBTA Commuter Rail System.
  • Work in a 24/7 transportation environment with multiple shifts, including weekend hours.
  • Use basic hand tools, lift, bend, stoop, and carry heavy loads.
  • Communicate effectively with various disciplines and levels of staff, both internal and external.
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational credential.
  • Trade and/or vocational training preferred.
  • 1-3 years of manual labor experience.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL and/or Hoisting License preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Noisy environment.
  • Shift work may be required for special projects.
  • Daily travel to various Keolis Commuter Services sites.
  • On-call as per collective agreement.
  • Team work with the Engineering team.
Additional Requirements
  • Pass a physical examination.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
