About the Role

Keolis North America LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Training Instructor to join our team. As an Engineering Training Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for our engineering department employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Create and deliver training programs for engineering department employees, including classroom, lab, and on-the-job training.
  • Assess Employee Competence: Conduct regular assessments to determine employee competence and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and Develop Training Materials: Contribute to the design and development of new and improved training programs, training materials, and documentation.
  • Ensure Safety Compliance: Conduct audits to ensure safety compliance and proficiency in work practices.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Continuously update knowledge and skills through regulatory research, self-study, and industry events.
Requirements
  • Advanced Knowledge of Track Engineering: Possess advanced knowledge of track engineering principles, rules, and policies, as well as safety requirements and engineering systems.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of relevant railroad regulations, rules, and standards, including FRA parts 213 and 214, CWR, RWP, and MBTA MW-1 Standards.
  • Experience in Training and Development: Previous experience as a training instructor and a background in adult learning are desirable.
  • Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage others.
