Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Data Analysis Specialist to join our team at Formlabs. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for conducting research projects to improve production yields and developing data-driven solutions to optimize our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on manufacturing and calibration variations to identify areas for improvement and develop proposals to enhance process yields.
  • Support the continuous improvement of test and calibration fixtures by analyzing data to ensure alignment and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Design and implement standard reporting and analysis tools to enable the Manufacturing team to quickly identify production issues.
  • Inform engineering decisions with data analysis and present findings to the Manufacturing team to improve the quality of hardware and software.
Requirements
  • Completed relevant technical coursework or have practical experience in statistics, data science, or other relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proficient in using a variety of data analysis tools to draw conclusions, such as statistics, machine learning, or predictive analytics.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau, and related tools for data analysis and visualization.
  • Hands-on, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about working on hardware.
  • Skilled at debugging, testing, and identifying the root causes of problems.
Nice to Have
  • Desire to understand system-level interactions of complex electro-mechanical products.
  • Understanding of GD&T principles to define and evaluate quality.
