Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst 2-Reimbursement performs a variety of complex job duties such as gathering statistical data; assisting with the financial disclosures and cost reports; working with outside consultants on reimbursement issues; must stay current on Federal and State reimbursement changes; reconciling various general ledger accounts. These services may be provided for all Loma Linda University Medical Center hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze statistical data to inform financial decisions
  • Assist with financial disclosures and cost reports
  • Work with outside consultants on reimbursement issues
  • Stay current on Federal and State reimbursement changes
  • Reconcile various general ledger accounts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting required
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum three years financial analysis or related experience required
  • Healthcare experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
  • Able to keyboard 40 wpm
  • Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality
  • Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position
  • Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
  • Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure

  • Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone

Licensures and Certifications:
