Reimbursement Financial Analyst II

Reimbursement (Full-Time, Day Shift) -Position Overview: The Reimbursement Financial Analyst II is responsible for executing a range of intricate tasks, including the collection of statistical information; aiding in financial disclosures and cost reporting for Medicare and Medi-Cal; collaborating with external consultants on reimbursement matters; maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Federal and State reimbursement regulations; and reconciling various general ledger accounts.
These services may be extended to all facilities within the organization. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting is mandatory. A Master's Degree in Business Administration is advantageous. A minimum of three years of experience in financial analysis or a related field is required, or completion of the Management Residency Program; experience in healthcare is preferred.
Skills and Competencies: Proficient typing skills of at least 40 wpm. Capable of reading and writing legibly; fluent in English with professional proficiency; adept in using necessary computer applications and office equipment (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Must be able to troubleshoot basic office technology required for the role. Demonstrates the ability to communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with colleagues; remains composed and courteous under pressure; collaborates well and accepts guidance. Proficient in verbal and written communication in English; capable of critical thinking; effectively manages multiple tasks; organizes and prioritizes workload efficiently; performs well under pressure; solves problems; recalls information accurately; pays close attention to detail; works independently with minimal oversight. Must be able to distinguish colors as necessary; possess adequate hearing for general conversation; and have sufficient vision to read computer screens and necessary documents.
Certifications and Licenses: Preferred certifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), or any other relevant financial certification or Master's Degree.
