Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Operations Manager to join our team at Brookdale Loma Linda. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day healthcare operations of our community, ensuring that residents' healthcare needs are met with respect and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the continuity and consistency of medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration in the community.
  • Conduct periodic Care Associate medication skills inventory checks and medication audits per Brookdale Guidelines.
  • Assist in the supervision of community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers.
  • Provide training and education to Caregivers on an ongoing basis, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training.
  • Manage the associates' schedules and oversee the coordination of resident care services.
  • Ensure consistent quality resident care and service delivery throughout all shifts.
  • Assume the role and responsibilities of a Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide as needed to meet residents' needs and staffing requirements.
Requirements
  • Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
  • A minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in healthcare operations management.
  • LPN or LVN license.
