Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst 2 - Financial Planning & Analysis plays a pivotal role in delivering thorough and coordinated financial analysis services. This position aids in the investment and financial evaluation process by scrutinizing available data to predict business, industry, or economic trends. The analyst prepares strategic action plans or presentations that offer insights and recommendations to department leaders and administrative management regarding prospective investments and financial health. Utilizing analytical skills, the role identifies and executes financial enhancement initiatives. This position also provides expert financial counsel through in-depth analysis and is accountable for completing assigned projects effectively and with minimal oversight. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory. A Master's Degree or relevant financial certification is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in financial analysis or a related field is required, or completion of a management residency program; experience in healthcare is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
Proficient in extracting data from various financial systems and manipulating it with precision and accuracy.

Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Problem Solving
- Project Management
- Financial or Accounting Reporting
- Statistical Analysis
- Business Intelligence Tools (e.g., Power BI/Tableau)
- SQL

Ability to read and write clearly; communicate in English with a professional demeanor; utilize necessary computer software and office equipment (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Capable of troubleshooting basic office equipment required for the role.

Exhibit positive, effective, and professional communication with others; maintain composure and respond courteously under pressure; collaborate and accept guidance.

Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing; critical thinking; manage multiple tasks efficiently; organize and prioritize workload; perform well under pressure; problem-solving skills; recall information accurately; attention to detail; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to distinguish colors as necessary; sufficient hearing for general conversation in person and on the phone; identify and differentiate various sounds associated with the workplace; adequate vision to read computer screens and written documents essential for the position.


Certifications and Licenses:
Preferred certifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), or any other relevant financial certification or Master's Degree.
