Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
1.

Manage and supervise the overall financial operations, which include, but are not limited to:
general ledger management, etc.

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring prompt and accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate and finalize yearly audits; offer suggestions for enhancing procedures and systems for implementing corrective measures.
  • Accountable for the preparation and consolidation of financial statements.
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal financial reporting regulations.
  • Assist in strategic financial planning, including budgeting, financial risk assessment, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with the financial management team to set and execute short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to guarantee that all financial transactions comply with legal standards.
  • Engage in cross-departmental projects and support other finance teams with ad-hoc requests.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or the real estate sector, focusing on financial reporting, audits, and consolidations is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with accounting software and databases is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a high degree of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and team management experience.
