Staff Accountant Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team at Creative Financial Staffing. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy of ledger account entries, and reconciling subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting functions, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including asset tracking, depreciation schedules, and subledger maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate development, commercial construction, property management, or a related field.
- Experience with fixed asset accounting and general ledger functions.
- Familiarity with accounting software, including Sage Intacct.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
