Role Overview:

The Project Scheduling Coordinator is tasked with the creation and upkeep of intricate integrated timelines for all planned activities. This role involves adapting to changes, challenging inputs from cost account managers, and proactively addressing issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation and preparation of comprehensive project-level Master Schedules.
  • Gather, evaluate, and integrate monthly status updates while producing accompanying narrative reports.
  • Develop integrated master schedules utilizing Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Statement of Work (SOW), and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Conduct Driving Path Analysis, Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, and Schedule Metric Analysis.
  • Perform DCMA 14 Point analysis and other relevant schedule validations.
  • Create High-Level Schedule Charts for monthly Internal Program Reviews.
  • Advise Cost Account Managers (CAMs) on Schedule Risk Analysis (SRAs).
  • Recommend significant enhancements to systems and processes.
  • Utilize Gantt charts, PERT diagrams, milestone charts, and earned value management techniques to assess progress and identify performance discrepancies.
  • Lead scheduling status reviews and briefings with senior management, requiring effective communication of critical matters.
  • Oversee the creation of Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) Deliverables.
  • Support joint surveillance reviews (JSRs) with relevant oversight bodies.
  • Ensure adherence to internal program protocols and project control system guidelines.
  • Engage in efforts to improve processes, systems, solutions, or products to enhance job performance.
  • Communicate effectively within and outside the function, including with external parties such as customers and vendors.
  • Clarify, interpret, and gain consensus on policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Influence stakeholders to accept team perspectives and changes to established practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent demanding deadlines.
  • Possess the capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.

Qualifications:

Proficient knowledge of the job area is typically acquired through a combination of education and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of four (4) years of prior experience in project scheduling.
  • Graduate Degree with at least two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, a minimum of eight (8) years of prior experience in project scheduling may substitute for a degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Understanding of Planning fundamentals, including Cost/Schedule integration and Schedule Analysis.
  • Experience with Critical Path Analysis and Schedule Metric Analysis (BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Schedule Risk Analysis.
  • Experience with Empower software.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members across various locations.
  • Experience with IPMR and CDRL development.
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance.

Compensation:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $67,500 - $125,500. This range is not a guarantee of compensation, as the final offer may vary based on factors such as experience and geographic location. L3Harris also provides a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) matching, flexible spending accounts, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. Specific programs and options available may vary based on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
