Role Overview:

The Project Scheduling Analyst will play a pivotal role in the formulation and upkeep of intricate integrated timelines for all planned tasks. This position involves assimilating modifications, challenging inputs from cost account managers, and proactively addressing issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and formulation of formal project-level Master Schedules.
  • Gather, assess, and integrate monthly status updates while preparing corresponding narrative reports.
  • Develop integrated master schedules utilizing IMP, SOW, and WBS methodologies.
  • Conduct Driving Path Analysis, Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, and Schedule Metric Analysis.
  • Perform DCMA 14 Point analysis and other relevant schedule validations.
  • Create High-Level Schedule Charts for monthly Internal Program Reviews.
  • Advise Cost Account Managers on Schedule Risk Analysis (SRAs).
  • Recommend significant enhancements to systems and processes.
  • Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to monitor progress and identify performance discrepancies.
  • Lead scheduling status reviews and briefings with senior leadership, requiring effective communication of critical matters.
  • Oversee the development of Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) Deliverables.
  • Support joint surveillance reviews (JSRs) with DCMA.
  • Ensure adherence to internal program protocols and project control system guidelines.
  • Engage in process improvements to enhance job area performance.
  • Communicate effectively within and outside the function or business area, including external parties such as customers and vendors.
  • Clarify, interpret, and foster cooperation on policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Influence acceptance of individual or team perspectives and modifications to concepts and practices.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent demanding deadlines.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.

Qualifications:

Proficient knowledge of the job area, typically acquired through a combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of four (4) years of prior experience in Project Scheduling is required. Alternatively, a Graduate Degree with at least two (2) years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Understanding of Planning fundamentals, including Cost/Schedule integration and Schedule Analysis.
  • Experience with Critical Path Analysis and Schedule Metric Analysis (BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Schedule Risk Analysis.
  • Experience with Empower.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members across various locations.
  • Experience with IPMR and CDRL development.
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance.
