Position Overview:


The Project Scheduling Analyst is tasked with the creation and upkeep of intricate integrated timelines for all allocated tasks. This role involves assimilating modifications, challenging inputs from cost account managers, and proactively addressing issues that arise.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the formulation and preparation of comprehensive project-level Master Schedules.
2. Gather, evaluate, and integrate monthly status updates while preparing corresponding narrative reports.
3. Develop integrated master schedules utilizing IMP, SOW, and WBS methodologies.
4. Conduct Driving Path Analysis, Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis, and Schedule Metric Analysis.
5. Execute DCMA 14 Point analysis and other relevant schedule validations.
6. Create High-Level Schedule Charts for internal program reviews.
7. Perform and advise on Schedule Risk Analysis (SRAs) for cost account managers.
8. Recommend and implement significant enhancements to systems and processes.

Utilize Gantt charts, PERT diagrams, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to assess progress and identify performance discrepancies, facilitating focus and intervention on critical areas.

Lead and participate in scheduling status reviews and briefings with senior management, necessitating effective communication of significant matters pertaining to the function or business area.

Oversee the creation of Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) deliverables and support joint surveillance reviews (JSRs) with relevant authorities.

Ensure adherence to internal program protocols and project control system guidelines. The role involves making substantial improvements to processes, systems, solutions, or products to enhance job performance.

Engage in communication within and outside of the function or business area, holding responsibility for interactions with external parties (e.g., customers, vendors) when necessary.

Clarify, interpret, and foster cooperation on policies, procedures, and practices.

Work to persuade others to accept the perspectives or practices of the individual or team, as well as changes to concepts, practices, and methodologies.

Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent demanding deadlines.

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.


Qualifications:
Requires a solid understanding of the job area, typically acquired through a combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience is required. Alternatively, a Graduate Degree with at least two (2) years of relevant experience or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience is acceptable.

Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Understanding of Planning fundamentals, including Cost/Schedule integration and Schedule Analysis.
- Experience with Critical Path Analysis.
- Familiarity with Schedule Metric Analysis – BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.
- Knowledge of Schedule Risk Analysis.
- Experience with Empower software.
- Ability to collaborate with individual contributors across various locations.
- Familiarity with IPMR and CDRL development.
- Active DOD Secret Clearance.
