Job Description

Draper Labs is seeking a highly skilled Travel Expense Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing full-cycle support associated with employee travel requests and expense reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Concur Expense (T&E) Module, including daily processing and auditing of expense reports to ensure compliance within the monthly close cycle.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly report on travel usage and compliance, and prepare quarterly and annual metrics for analysis.
  • Manage all aspects of Purchase Card program, including issuing new cards, online maintenance of accounts, analyzing requests for exceptions, and reviewing transactions for adherence to policy.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervision to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain high ethical and quality standards, correct errors, and produce accurate, thorough, professional work.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to analyze and process Excel spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible work experience in customer-facing roles.

Additional Information:

  • Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
