Position Overview

This role focuses on cultivating relationships with existing and prospective clients within a designated territory to drive success in marketing ISEC's products and services.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of successfully closing client contracts, fostering strategic client relationships, and leading all sales initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
Achieve regional sales, profit, and revenue targets.

Drive client relationships and sales for ISEC's offerings, including but not limited to: laboratory furnishings, doors, frames and hardware, specialties, architectural woodwork, ornamental metals, and medical equipment projects targeting private, industrial, educational, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, and governmental sectors.

Engage with and develop clients through meetings, industry events, and participation in local construction associations.

Deliver exceptional customer service by responding effectively to client inquiries, resolving issues, and fulfilling commitments promptly.

Utilize market insights, trends, and forecasting to qualify project leads.
Prepare and present formal sales presentations to clients.
Manage bid proposals and documentation throughout the sales lifecycle, ensuring proper transition to estimating and operations.
Formulate a comprehensive sales strategy by evaluating project risks, logistics, contract documents, vendors, subcontractors, and competitors.
Demonstrate a successful track record in executing all phases to secure large contracts.
Develop and communicate strategies leveraging internal teams to mitigate risks and enhance profit and closure opportunities.
Prepare and finalize bid proposals for clients.
Negotiate on behalf of ISEC to secure optimal contract terms.
Provide pre-construction architectural guidance and budget support to clients.
Conduct all necessary project follow-ups, status tracking, closure, and price recaps.
Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in achieving or surpassing sales targets.
Experience in construction sales or related sectors.
Established network of General Contractors.
Knowledge/Skills:
Extensive understanding of ISEC product lines.
Proven success in negotiating, relationship building, and closing construction sales opportunities.
Ability to independently close, estimate, and negotiate work.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in construction or a related field.
General construction knowledge or specific subcontracting expertise.
Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrated relationship-building skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Strong presentation and communication capabilities.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in computer applications including Excel, Word, Bluebeam, and PowerPoint.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
