Job Summary

Eaton's ES APAC ELXD division is seeking a Senior Field Sales Engineer to drive demand creation and share gain at OEM and EMS accounts. This role will focus on electronics and require strong technical knowledge and ability to design-in Eaton Electronics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design in Eaton Electronics solutions and increase Eaton share in the marketplace.
  2. Develop and implement action plans targeted at YOY growth and agreed performance levels.
  3. Partner with regional sales director and regional sales manager for strategic direction.
  4. Independently develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  5. Make recommendations to management regarding potential challenges or issues on a case-by-case basis, offering solutions and pro-actively scheduling sales calls.
Requirements
  • Engineering Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years within Electronics sales and technical selling.
  • Minimum 3 years in an outside sales or field application role.
  • Possess valid driver's license.
  • Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of the assigned territory - no relocation will be provided for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5 years within Electronics sales and technical selling.
  • 5 years in an outside sales or field application role.
Technical Knowledge
  • Electronics circuitry, design and application experience.
Soft Skills
  • Self-driven, accountable, passionate, charismatic communicator, problem solver.
  • Able to travel up to 75%.
Compensation

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $97,000.00.
