Position Title: HR Operations Specialist

Position Overview:

ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking an HR Operations Specialist. This role, under the supervision of the HR Manager, is pivotal in delivering extensive human resources assistance, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring that HR policies and practices are in harmony with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise managers and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations to guarantee equitable and consistent implementation.
  • Support the recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Handle employee relations, resolve employee issues, and mediate disputes to cultivate a constructive workplace atmosphere.
  • Provide education and support regarding employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, while addressing employee questions.
  • Maintain precise HR documentation, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational standards through regular audits.
  • Assist in formulating and executing HR policies and initiatives that reinforce the company's culture and goals.
  • Oversee the tracking and completion of online employee training modules for both new hires and ongoing training mandated by corporate.
  • Stay informed about labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and enhance HR operations.
  • Lead the Diversity and Communication Committee; organize All-Staff Quarterly Meetings and promote employee engagement.
  • Engage in special projects, events, and initiatives aimed at boosting employee involvement and organizational success.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist or in a comparable position, with a solid grasp of HR principles and practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license or identification card.
  • Willingness to travel to additional venues as required.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, particularly Workday, ADP, and/or ABI is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, DocHub, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively engage with employees, management, and guests.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage various tasks, projects, and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee issues with discretion.
  • Experience in developing and delivering onboarding and training programs and facilitating HR-related workshops is desirable.
  • Knowledge or experience in event management is a plus.
  • Bilingual capabilities are advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, In-Office

Compensation: $28.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Flexible Start & End Times)

Working Conditions:
