Key Responsibilities
• Uphold the standards of Sonesta Service in all guest interactions, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service among all hotel staff.
• Develop and implement effective processes to guarantee that all guest amenities are adequately stocked, food and beverage services meet guest expectations, and the hotel environment is well-maintained.
• Ensure comprehensive training for all team members, equipping them with the necessary tools and resources to perform their roles effectively.
• Oversee front office operations and reservation systems to deliver outstanding guest services while managing inventory and safeguarding financial transactions.
• Handle approvals, billing, and collections for the hotel's Accounts Receivables.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the analysis of budget variances within key departments.
• Manage housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure compliance with brand standards and quality expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness and proper condition.
• Supervise food and beverage operations to ensure quality standards and guest satisfaction are consistently met.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain adequate supplies.
• Establish and enforce budgetary controls for departmental expenses.
• Collaborate with management to identify and address budget variances.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations pertaining to hotel operations.
• Act as the point of contact for guest complaints, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
• Promote teamwork and high-quality service through effective communication and coordination with all departments.
• Represent the hotel at social events and networking opportunities to foster business relationships.
• Enforce adherence to hotel policies and procedures across all operational departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the hotel as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
• Competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience.
