Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team at Schulte Companies. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Greeting and Check-in: Greet guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition and a warm welcome.
  • Welcome Amenities: Review arrival lists daily and assist in preparing, assembling, and delivering welcome amenities to our guests.
  • VIP Check-in: Escort VIP guests to their rooms and check them in prior to arrival.
  • Phone and Cash Handling: Answer the phone within three rings with a smile and answer questions accordingly or transfer as needed. Responsible for issued bank - count bank at beginning and end of shift.
  • Cash Handling and Security: Ensure that all cash drops are done in accordance with proper cash handling procedures and report all cash over/shorts to management.
  • Front Desk Maintenance: Maintain the front desk area to be clean and organized.
  • Lobby Activation: Assist with lobby activation as needed.
  • Guest Data Protection: Utilize proper procedures when handling guest PPI data.
  • Graduate Arrival Experience: Understand the key points to communicate for a Graduate Arrival experience.
  • Guest Requests and Complaints: Follow through and feel ownership of guest requests. Resolve guest complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Upsell Program: Actively participate in Front Desk upsell program.
  • Identification and Payment: Always retrieve necessary identification documents and form of payment upon guest arrival.
Requirements
  • Prior Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer-facing roles is required.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are required.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills are required.
