About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parking Ambassador to join our team at ASM Global. As a Parking Ambassador, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless parking experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to parking patrons, answering inquiries and providing information about campus activities and locations.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle payments from parking customers, verify amounts due, provide change when necessary, issue receipts, and deposit payments securely.
  • Financial Management: Reconcile sales with automated counters and other financial controls.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain meticulous and organized daily reports related to parking transactions and document customer complaints.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Complete all maintenance and cleaning tasks outlined in checklists and as instructed by the management team.
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform regular rounds to collect and dispose of trash and debris, empty trash bins, and report and address burnt-out light bulbs and equipment malfunctions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively as part of a team to clear snow from entrance and exit ramps and designated areas as directed by the Facility Manager.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations and ensure cleanliness in all restrooms.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong numerical aptitude and the ability to communicate diplomatically with patrons, supervisors, managers, and directors.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for extended periods while working rotating shifts and lift up to 20lbs.
