About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Executive to join our team at Riverbed Technology. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the Federal market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to maximize high-value sales into multiple Federal accounts.
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor within assigned accounts, understanding their structure and hierarchies, and identifying priorities, objectives, and motivations of key stakeholders.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, orchestrating cross-functional teams to ensure alignment throughout the sales journey and deliver business value.
  • Successfully manage multi-month sales processes, breaking down long sales cycles into smaller milestones and tracking progress.
  • Communicate and demonstrate the value of the Riverbed Platform, highlighting ROI and building a business case to support decision-makers.
  • Implement and execute an effective account management strategy, understanding each account's unique challenges and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success selling high-end enterprise software in a SaaS subscription model, with experience selling to the C-Suite and key stakeholders.
  • Multiple years of experience selling to the Army, with existing relationships in assigned accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to close large, complex deals, navigating complex procurement processes involving multiple decision-makers.
