Job Title: Strategic Account Executive - Army

Riverbed is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Executive to partner with Federal agencies, driving business outcomes through the Riverbed Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize high-value sales into multiple Federal (Army) accounts.
  • Position oneself as a thought leader and trusted advisor within assigned accounts.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver business value and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Successfully manage multi-month sales processes, breaking down long sales cycles into smaller milestones and tracking progress.
  • Communicate and demonstrate the value of the Riverbed Platform, highlighting ROI and building a business case for decision-makers.
  • Implement and execute an effective account management strategy, understanding each account's unique challenges and tailoring solutions to meet their needs and goals.

Requirements:

  • Track record of success selling high-end enterprise software in a SaaS subscription model.
  • Multiple years of experience selling to the Army, with existing relationships in assigned accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to close large, complex deals, navigating complex procurement/buying processes involving multiple decision-makers.
