Job Title: Business Development Representative

Join Modern Auto CO as a Business Development Representative and play a crucial role in driving sales growth and customer engagement. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for responding to phone customer inquiries, ensuring maximum ROI on phone leads, and processing various paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with customers and prospects by phone to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Schedule appointments for a reasonable level in comparison to other BDRs to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Follow up and respond to internet leads immediately to ensure timely conversion.
  • Deliver messages intended for other departments promptly to maintain seamless communication.
  • Maintain a customer database and follow up through CDK to ensure accurate records.
  • Enter data into all required tools to ensure accurate tracking and analysis.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of all electronic tools and lead sources to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Stay up to date on all dealership products and services to provide informed solutions.
  • Establish personal goals that are consistent with department standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times to represent Modern Auto CO positively.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Two plus years related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
Skills:
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, reports, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Physical Demands:
  • Sitting to perform routine administrative tasks, using fine motor skills, to type using a keyboard, and operating basic office equipment, such as a telephone, scanner/copy machine, and calculator.
