Job Title: Financial Representative

At Western & Southern Life, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Representative to join our team. As a Financial Representative, you will play a critical role in meeting the financial needs of our middle-income clients by providing them with tailored solutions for risk protection, financial security, and wealth creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop marketing strategies to reach middle-market clients.
  • Prospect and network with potential clients to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct sales, conservation, and service appointments with clients to provide them with financial solutions.
  • Prepare for appointments by analyzing client needs and developing effective sales strategies.
  • Sell insurance and investment solutions to clients, ensuring that they are aligned with their financial goals and objectives.
  • Plan and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain community relationships to build the Western & Southern Life brand at the local level.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and marketing activities.
Requirements:
  • High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship, and influence skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ability to influence others to take action.
  • Personal drive and resilience to achieve business objectives.
Education and Certifications:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • State Life and Health license prior to hire.
  • FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 within one year of employment.
Computer Skills and Knowledge:
  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Working knowledge of internet and email.
Position Demands:
  • Access to an automobile and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
