Position Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing initiatives of The Cordish Companies. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing our social media presence and coordinating successful events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute engaging social media content and campaigns across various platforms.
  • Manage the creation of weekly and monthly social media content calendars.
  • Analyze performance metrics to uncover insights and optimize social media strategies.
  • Assist the marketing team during events, ensuring effective social media coverage and smooth operations.
  • Provide customer service support via social media channels.
  • Stay informed about emerging digital trends for potential implementation.
  • Maintain updated lists of digital influencers and media contacts.
  • Organize and manage a comprehensive photo and video library.
  • Support the planning and execution of diverse events, including concerts, festivals, and community activities.
Event Coordination Duties:
  • Assist in the logistics of events before and after they occur.
  • Manage registration processes and track attendee participation.
  • Coordinate promotional materials and social media coverage for events.
  • Oversee vendor registration and ensure all partnership requirements are fulfilled.
  • Conduct evaluations of events post-completion to assess success and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for at least one year of experience in customer service or hospitality. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

Availability for flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator, and have experience with major social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively or independently, and effective multitasking capabilities are vital. Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing various tasks under tight deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

The role may involve frequent movement within assigned locations, lifting items up to 30 pounds, and performing various physical tasks such as bending and stooping.
