This role involves collaborating closely with all accounting associates to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, achieving departmental goals, and addressing associates' needs.

You will contribute to the store's profitability by effectively managing all aspects of the accounting department operations, including labor, expenses, and customer service.

This is a flexible position requiring early morning availability on weekdays. Weekend shifts may be available if preferred. This is a part-time role.

Job Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures compliance with all departmental standards in the accounting division.

Collaborates and communicates effectively with the Store Director, other department managers, and accounting associates to maintain standards and exceed customer expectations.

Delivers exceptional service to all customers.

Assists customers in locating items on the sales floor.

Handles incoming calls and assists customers with proper phone etiquette.

Addresses customer concerns and resolves issues to ensure satisfaction.

Supports all department associates with daily tasks while leading by example.

Contributes to the overall cleanliness of the department by organizing and maintaining work areas.

Maintains regular, timely attendance in accordance with the work schedule, providing adequate notice for any absences.

Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.

Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to manage various situations.

WORK SCHEDULE
The Accounting Specialist position may be part-time or full-time, hourly.

We provide schedules two weeks in advance for better planning and balance.
