We are seeking a dedicated individual for the bookkeeping role at our grocery store.

Job Title:
Accounting Specialist

Reports To:
Guest Service Department Manager


This position involves collaborating closely with bookkeeping staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, achieving departmental goals, and addressing associates' needs.

You will contribute to the store's profitability by effectively managing all aspects of bookkeeping operations, including labor, expenses, and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all departmental standards are upheld in the bookkeeping area.

Foster effective communication and collaboration with the Store Director, other department managers, and bookkeeping staff to maintain standards and exceed customer expectations.

Deliver exceptional service to all customers.

Assist customers in locating items while on the sales floor.

Answer phone calls and assist customers using proper phone etiquette.

Address customer concerns and resolve issues when necessary.

Support all department associates with their daily tasks while leading by example.

Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the department by organizing and maintaining work areas.

Maintain regular, timely attendance in accordance with the work schedule, providing adequate notice for any absences.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.

WORK SCHEDULE
The Accounting Specialist position may be part-time or full-time, hourly.

We provide schedules two weeks in advance for better planning and balance.
