This role ensures that financial systems are precise, effective, and compliant with professional accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Healthcare Billing Specialist Job Responsibilities:
  • Billing Specialist in a Long-Term Care Environment
  • This individual will promote a collaborative team atmosphere throughout the organization.
  • They will execute duties related to Accounts Receivable, which include:
  • Verification of financial payments (Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance) and daily census management.
  • Medicaid billing and follow-up, handling Medicaid Redeterminations and related paperwork requests.
  • Patient billing, deposits, and follow-up for Private R&B and Personal Liability.
  • Engaging with residents and families to assist with necessary documentation.
