Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Optical Care Specialist to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As an Eye Care Professional, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality optical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Optical Care: Conduct pre-examination testing, explain measurements and answer patient questions, and provide coaching and guidance on contact lens care and handling.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain and disinfect contact lens inventory, and ensure accurate and efficient processing of patient records.
  • Point of Sale: Operate the POS system, collecting payment and handling transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Store Appearance: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, and ensure visual displays are in accordance with company guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Product Knowledge: Knowledge of current fashion trends and optical products, with the ability to describe features and benefits to patients.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators, with the ability to operate the POS system accurately.
  • Organization Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service, retail, and/or optical.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and management.
