Position Overview:

The Radiology Navigation Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality radiographic and surgical imaging services, including fluoroscopy, under the supervision of a physician. This role caters to all age demographics served by the organization while ensuring adherence to the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of radiographic and surgical imaging procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in imaging practices.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma, Certification, GED, Training, Experience

Licenses & Certifications:
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography

Additional Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited AMA program in Radiology is required. A minimum of six months of experience in an acute care environment is essential. Proficiency in the setup and operation of O-Arm and Stealth Neuro Navigation systems is necessary. The candidate must be capable of independently executing all radiological procedures, particularly those related to the operating room.

Experience Requirements:

At least six months of experience in an acute care setting is required.
