The Radiology Navigation Specialist is responsible for delivering a diverse range of high-quality radiographic and surgical imaging services, including fluoroscopy, under the supervision of a physician. This role caters to all patient demographics, ensuring adherence to the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform various radiological procedures with precision and care.
- Utilize advanced imaging technologies, including the O-Arm and Stealth Neuro Navigation systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, along with relevant certifications.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography
Additional Requirements:
Completion of an accredited AMA program in Radiology. A minimum of six months of experience in a clinical setting is essential. Proficiency in operating radiological equipment independently is required.
At least six months of experience in an acute care environment is mandatory.
