SSM Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomographic procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for computed tomography procedures, ensuring accurate positioning and selection of anatomic and technical parameters.
- Contrast Media Administration: Administer contrast media and/or medications as needed, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
- Procedure Monitoring: Observe patients during procedures, reporting any abnormal activity and monitoring protocols for updates or refinements.
- Radiation Safety: Follow established radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Education: Completion of a radiology certification program or registration in radiology.
- Experience: No prior experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Licensure: Possession of a valid ARRT-R, ARRT-T, and ARRT-CT certifications, as well as a Wisconsin radiographer license.
