UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to enhance our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), E Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of intricate technical support tasks on-site with the client.
  • Facilitate procurement processes and perform financial assessments for projects.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client projects, overseeing all facets of project management, including budget, timeline, and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to research and development program initiatives, in-service support, and the procurement of necessary supplies and materials.
  • Execute life cycle cost evaluations.
  • Comprehend program management principles that enhance cost efficiency, scheduling, and technical performance.
  • Deliver technical evaluations of documentation to support various events and milestone assessments.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in a business or technical field.
  • At least five years of professional experience in project or program support, focusing on analyzing and assessing the effectiveness of program operations in achieving set goals and objectives.
  • Experience related to Gun Weapon Systems and/or Navy programs is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with DoD Acquisition processes and procedures is essential.
  • Knowledge of the DoDI 5000 Acquisition Framework is preferred.
  • Experience in developing and testing solutions to address technical challenges in research and development, manufacturing, inspection, and maintenance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate with various external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, including information analysis, systems specifications, data collection, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment, with the capability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 15 to 25 pounds.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to twist, bend, and squat periodically.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must currently possess a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is required for Secret clearance.
