Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Marketing Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading project pursuit teams, managing pursuit processes, and adhering to quality standards for document production throughout the entire pursuit lifecycle, including preparation and coaching for interviews.
  • Supporting Market Sector Leaders in crafting local marketing strategies, conducting market analysis, and aiding business development initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal Client Managers and Teams to develop marketing strategies, client development plans, and pursuit capture strategies.
  • Facilitating pursuit capture planning and proposal coordination meetings with technical teams.
  • Conceptualizing, researching, and producing marketing materials, proposals, promotions, and presentations.
  • Managing and executing virtual interviews.
  • Establishing and implementing procedures for identifying, screening, and selecting pursuits.
  • Creating and coordinating graphics, writing, and editing layout materials.
  • Composing non-technical text and proofreading marketing collateral.
  • Providing storyboarding and message development for proposals.
  • Ensuring timely production and quality of marketing deliverables and communications.
  • Coordinating professional association events, including developing conference concepts, promotions, and artwork.
  • Engaging in SMPS, WTS, and other relevant professional organizations as appropriate.
  • Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of proposal marketing experience, preferably within the A/E/C sector.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, and MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Robust computer skills, creative/graphic design capabilities, and experience with various media in marketing proposals, presentations, and related materials.
  • Commitment to quality and HDR values.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, as well as area, regional, and national technical managers and project staff.
  • Requires minimal direction in areas of specialization.
  • Exhibits proficient technical computer skills, advanced knowledge of communication theory, and fundamental layout and design principles.
  • Demonstrates understanding of technical proposals.
  • Quick self-starter, team-oriented, and able to engage with various personalities and professional styles.
  • Highly articulate with a clear and analytical approach to problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Adheres to HDR standards, facilitates the proposal review process, and guides production.
  • A strong commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or Journalism is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to local candidates.
