Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Marketing Coordinator, your contributions will include:

  • Leading project pursuit teams, overseeing pursuit processes, and ensuring adherence to quality standards for document production throughout the entire pursuit lifecycle, including preparation and coaching for interviews.
  • Supporting Market Sector Leaders in crafting local marketing strategies, conducting market analysis, and facilitating business development initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal Client Managers and Teams to formulate marketing strategies, client development plans, and pursuit capture planning.
  • Organizing pursuit capture planning and proposal coordination meetings with technical teams.
  • Conceptualizing, researching, and producing marketing materials, proposals, promotions, and presentations.
  • Managing and executing virtual interviews.
  • Establishing and implementing procedures for the identification, screening, and selection of pursuits.
  • Creating and coordinating graphics, as well as writing and editing layout materials.
  • Composing non-technical text and proofreading marketing collateral.
  • Providing storyboarding and message development for proposals.
  • Ensuring timely production and quality of marketing deliverables and communications.
  • Coordinating professional association events, including the development of conference concepts, promotions, and artwork.
  • Engaging with SMPS, WTS, and other relevant professional organizations as necessary.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal marketing, preferably within the A/E/C sector.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, as well as MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Robust computer skills, creative/graphic design capabilities, and experience with various media in marketing proposals, presentations, and related materials.
  • A commitment to quality and the values of HDR.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, as well as area, regional, and national technical managers and project staff.
  • Minimal direction required in areas of specialization.
  • Proficient technical computer skills, advanced understanding of communication theory, and foundational knowledge of layout and design principles.
  • Demonstrated comprehension of technical proposals.
  • A proactive self-starter, team-oriented, and adaptable to various personalities and professional styles.
  • Highly articulate with a clear and analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Adherence to HDR standards, facilitation of the proposal review process, and guidance of production.
  • A strong commitment to actively participating in our employee-owned culture.

  • A Bachelor's degree; a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or Journalism is preferred.
