Key Responsibilities
In the capacity of Senior Marketing Coordinator, you will be expected to:
  • Lead project pursuit teams, oversee pursuit processes, and adhere to quality standards for document production throughout the entire pursuit lifecycle, including preparation and coaching for interviews.
  • Support Market Sector Leaders in crafting local marketing strategies, conducting market analyses, and facilitating business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal Client Managers and Teams to devise marketing strategies, client development plans, and pursuit capture planning.
  • Organize pursuit capture planning and proposal coordination meetings with the technical team.
  • Conceptualize, research, and create marketing materials, proposals, promotions, and presentations.
  • Manage and execute virtual interviews.
  • Develop and implement procedures for identifying, screening, and selecting pursuits.
  • Coordinate graphics, write, and edit layout materials.
  • Produce non-technical text, and edit and proofread marketing collateral.
  • Provide storyboarding and message development for proposals.
  • Ensure timely production and high quality of marketing deliverables and communications.
  • Coordinate professional association events, including developing conference concepts, promotions, and artwork.
  • Engage in SMPS, WTS, and other relevant professional organizations as appropriate.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal marketing, preferably within the A/E/C sector.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, as well as MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong computer skills, creative/graphic design capabilities, and proficiency in utilizing various media for marketing proposals, presentations, and related materials.
  • Commitment to quality and HDR values.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, as well as area, regional, and national technical managers and project staff.
  • Requires minimal direction in areas of specialization.
  • Exhibits proficient technical computer skills, advanced knowledge of communication theory, and basic layout and design principles.
  • Demonstrates understanding of technical proposals.
  • Quick self-starter, team-oriented, and capable of working with various personalities and professional styles.
  • Highly articulate with a clear and analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Adhere to HDR standards, facilitate the proposal review process, and guide production.
  • A commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or Journalism is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to local candidates.
