Position Summary:

The Restoration Superintendent plays a pivotal role in supporting Project Managers to ensure the successful execution of construction projects. This position involves onboarding and mentoring new Superintendents, as well as implementing company policies and training programs. Responsibilities include overseeing production teams, managing schedules, budgeting, and documenting project progress. The Superintendent is also tasked with supervising subcontractors and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Develop and manage relationships with subcontractors.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using required software.
  • Prepare change orders and conduct cost estimations.
  • Assist in the collection of payments for contracts and change orders.
  • Collaborate with building departments, engineers, and architects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain an organized work environment.
  • Obtain and maintain OSHA 30 certification.
  • Ensure a clear driving record and manage company tools responsibly.
  • Guide and support team members and laborers as needed.
  • Foster the growth of technicians and team members.
  • Stay informed about regional building codes and regulations.
  • Provide training and coaching to staff under supervision.
  • Coordinate with other Superintendents to optimize scheduling and resource sharing.
  • Promote a culture of safety and demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Manage and execute projects valued up to $300,000.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Possession of a sales license or ability to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment.
  • OSHA 30 certification is required.
  • Strong construction background with the ability to communicate effectively with insurance representatives.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to independently identify and resolve issues.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and accountable.

Work Environment:
  • Worksites may vary in cleanliness and may involve exposure to unsanitary conditions.
  • Workers may encounter atmospheric conditions that could affect respiratory health.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
  • Capability to ascend and descend ladders and scaffolding.
  • Maintain balance and carry tools and materials as needed.
  • Perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Coordinate movements effectively to ensure safety.
  • Visual and auditory acuity to avoid hazards.
