Project Administrator

United Construction Company is in search of a Project Administrator tasked with managing project documentation as directed by Project Manager(s).

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in project administration within the commercial construction sector is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.

Position Type: Full-time

Responsibilities Include:

  • Handling Submittals, Shop Drawings, and Samples
  • Monitoring all necessary submittals and shop drawings, ensuring proper filing of documents
  • Managing RFIs: Input into project management software, distribute, and track responses
  • Overseeing Subcontracts and Purchase Orders: Prepare, monitor, and keep Project Manager updated
  • Managing RCOs and PCOs: Prepare, track, update project management software, and maintain files
  • Assisting with Project Meetings: Help in organizing, creating, and updating meeting minutes
  • Handling Certified Payroll: Collect, verify, and submit when necessary
  • Maintaining Project Documentation: Distribute updated schedules, plans, specifications, and maintain files
  • Facilitating Communications: Ensure close interaction with all involved parties
  • Financial Oversight: Follow accounting procedures, process commitments, and manage change orders
  • Reporting: Generate reports as required
  • Project Close-Out: Adhere to close-out procedures, track warranties, and compile closeout documents
