United Construction Company is in search of a Project Administrator tasked with managing project documentation as directed by Project Manager(s).

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in project administration within the commercial construction sector is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.

Position Details:

Location: Reno, NV

Employment Type: Full-time

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage Submittals, Shop Drawings, and Samples.
  • Oversee tracking of all necessary submittals and shop drawings, ensuring proper filing of documents.
  • Handle RFIs: Input into project management software, distribute, and monitor responses.
  • Prepare and track Subcontracts and Purchase Orders, keeping the Project Manager updated.
  • Manage RCOs and PCOs: Prepare, track, and update project management software while maintaining organized files.
  • Assist in organizing Project Meetings, including creating and updating meeting minutes.
  • Collect, verify, and submit Certified Payroll as required.
  • Distribute updated project documentation, including schedules, plans, and specifications, while maintaining organized files.
  • Facilitate effective communication with all involved parties.
  • Ensure adherence to financial management procedures, including processing commitments and controlling change orders.
  • Prepare necessary reports as required.
  • Follow close-out procedures, track warranties, and compile closeout documents.

General Skills Required:

  • Language Proficiency: Ability to read, write reports, and present information effectively.
  • Mathematical Competence: Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of resolving practical issues and interpreting instructions.
  • Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with construction law and the ability to read legal documents and contracts.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore, and Sage.
