About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to contribute to the success of our culinary team at Vic's On The River. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals that meet our exacting standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain a clean and organized prep station, ensuring all necessary ingredients and equipment are readily available.
  • Prepare a variety of menu items, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces, to exacting standards.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless kitchen operations and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Stock inventory and supplies, and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
  • Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods, with a focus on consistency and quality.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Aptitude for multi-tasking and adaptability, with a focus on meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations.
