Job Description

Aramark, a leading provider of food and facilities services, is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee culinary operations and lead a team of chef managers and hourly staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute culinary solutions that meet customer needs and tastes.

The Executive Chef will be responsible for ensuring proper culinary standards and techniques are in place for preparation of food items, including production, presentation, and service standards. They will also manage a culinary team, train and manage culinary and kitchen employees, and coach employees to use best practice food production techniques.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a management role. They will also have a culinary degree or equivalent experience, and advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure culinary production connects to the Executional Framework
  • Develop and execute culinary solutions to meet customer needs and tastes
  • Manage a culinary team, including chef managers and hourly staff
  • Train and manage culinary and kitchen employees
  • Coach employees to use best practice food production techniques
  • Ensure proper culinary standards and techniques are in place for preparation of food items
  • Manage food and labor targets
  • Ensure efficient execution and delivery of all culinary products in line with the daily menu
  • Maintain integrity of the standard Aramark food offer
  • Comply with all applicable policies, rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of culinary experience
  • At least 2 years in a management role
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
