Job Title: Administrative Professional - Policy Team Member

Strategic Alliance Business Group LLC (SABG) is a fast-growing, privately held, small business, government contracting company. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Professional to join our team as a Policy Team Member.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to provide administrative support to our policy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the office's policy email inbox, attending meetings, setting up and maintaining activity trackers, and supporting activities surrounding the office's Annual Report.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the office's policy email inbox by assigning and tracking incoming emails and sending follow-up template responses
  • Attend and take notes at meetings with other Government agencies, external stakeholders, and team meetings
  • Set up and maintain activity trackers of duties performed, including a tracker of regulatory review and executive secretariat taskers
  • Support activities surrounding the office's Annual Report, including tracking progress of studies and following up as needed
  • Track formal and informal recommendations, including maintaining web pages and uploading documents as needed
  • Organize, collate, and post policy-related notes to internal sites
  • Assist with research in immigration benefits, including tracking and compiling regulatory actions and policy updates
  • Provide administrative support, such as assisting with travel authorizations, reimbursement requests, and posting leave to the office Outlook calendar

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of progressive administrative experience with increasing responsibility is mandatory; four (4) or more years' experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's of Science or Bachelor's of Arts Degree is mandatory
  • Previous experience working with Government Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate work based on priority and understanding of organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Word and Excel) is necessary. Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, Access, and Visio a plus
  • Must be able to pass an initial background check conducted by the Department of Homeland Security – Only candidates with clean legal and financial records will be considered
