Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with NACUBO members through regular communication and outreach efforts.
  • Develop and implement effective membership engagement strategies to increase member retention and recruitment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to NACUBO members, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the membership and marketing teams to create engaging digital content and communications that promote NACUBO's programs and services.
  • Work closely with the leadership development team to connect members with leadership programming opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze membership data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to enhance member engagement and retention.
  • Assist with dues billing and collection processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Prepare and present regular membership reports to the Director, Membership, highlighting key metrics and insights.
  • Participate in project teams and task forces focused on increasing member engagement, recruitment, and retention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 4-6 years' experience in a membership role or similar database experience.
  • Proven knowledge of an association management system (AMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service.
Work Environment

This is a remote position, with occasional travel to the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. The incumbent will use standard office equipment and software, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
