Job Title: Bridge Foreman

At E-Z Bel Construction, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridge Foreman to oversee the construction, repair, and maintenance of bridges within our civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction crews engaged in bridge construction activities, including foundation work, structural assembly, and finishing.
  • Ensure safety compliance and implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all workers on the construction site.
  • Coordinate crew activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or violations promptly.
  • Ensure that bridge construction meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate the delivery and use of construction materials, and oversee the maintenance and repair of construction equipment and tools.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and requirements effectively to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during bridge construction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in construction management or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in bridge construction or civil construction projects, with at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety regulations related to bridge construction.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate construction crews.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with construction equipment and tools, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
